The world today is stirred by an infectious disease, which has not been cured and has not yet found a way to cure it, even a vaccine to prevent the development of the virus.

 

Infectious disease is a disease caused by a new type of virus that has just been discovered. The virus is called Corona Virus. Diseases that can arise due to virus infection are Corona Virus Disease 2019 or COVID-19.

 

Respiratory disease caused by the Corona Virus, the first known case occurred in Wuhan Province, China. At that time, more than 40 people suffered from pneumonia for no apparent reason. That happened in December 2019.

 

It is now understood that the disease is caused by a new type of coronavirus, known as “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2” abbreviated as SARS-CoV-2.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory disease and recover without the need for special treatment. Older people, and those who have basic medical problems such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, and cancer are more likely to experience this serious disease.

 

How to prevent it?

 

The best way to prevent and slow down the transmission of the corona virus (COVID-19) is to protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or frequently using rubbing alcohol and not touching your face, nose and mouth.

 

How is the Corona Virus Spread?

 

The COVID-19 virus spreads mainly through droplets or coming out of the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

 

Therefore it is important for us or others to close around the nose when we cough or by bending the elbows to avoid bursts from coughing or sneezing.

Until now, no vaccine has been found to cure diseases caused by the corona virus, nor has special treatment methods been found to prevent Corona virus disease (COVID-19). So it’s good for us to maintain the condition of our bodies to stay healthy and fit, and follow the steps set by the government to prevent the development of this disease in society.
